Mr. Matos is the Chief Executive Officer of A. Silva Matos Investments, the investment vehicle of the A. Silva Matos group of companies. His focus is on renewable energy including wind, hydro and solar power, with activities in Portugal, Spain, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. Previously, Mr. Matos served as the Assessor of A. Silva Matos Energy.
Craig Andrus brings over 20 years of global investment banking experience. Prior to co-founding PPI, he was Managing Director with J.P. Morgan, New York where he co-headed the Global Leverage Fund Group until 2005. Craig brings his global organizational skills and financial experience to PPI's team. Craig holds a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA in International Business from the University of South Carolina.

Previously he worked 2 years at Explorer Investments (Portuguese private equity fund manager) and 6 years at Galp Energia working in Strategy and Business Portfolio department. He also worked previously in Espírito Santo Investment in the Project Finance and Corporate Finance Advisory divisions in Portugal and Brazil. Member of the Cabinet of the Ministry of Economy during the XVI Portuguese Constitutional Government, were he assisted the Undersecretary for Economic Development. Luís has a degree in Economics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
Ralph has 30 years experience as a trial lawyer and international corporate counsel. A 1981 graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of British Columbia, he was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1982 and joined the litigation department of Lang Michener Lawrence & Shaw LLP, Vancouver. He became a partner of the firm in 1987 and in 1994 was appointed Chair of its litigation group. His clients included Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation, Diamond Fields Inc., shareholders of Bre-X Resources Inc., and other clients with high-stakes corporate, securities and financial institution litigation. In 1997 he left the firm to join StarCapital Corp., a Bahamas-based telecommunications company, as its General Counsel and Managing Director. Since 2002, Ralph has been engaged as international legal counsel or General Counsel for other private and public companies, including Finavera Renewables Inc. (Vancouver, listed TSXV) and Continental Gas Storage BV (The Hague, NL).
From Aker Solutions Mark Riding was appointed head of strategy in November 2016. The Briton joined Aker Solutions in 2011 and has more than 30 years of oil industry experience, much of it in international management posts in Schlumberger, but most recently as chief of strategic marketing and organizational development in Aker Solutions. He has a BSc in mining engineering from the University of Birmingham, UK.
Mr. Metelo has over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, having held several executive and leading roles with special focus in management, strategy, and finance. Mr. Metelo has been with Principle Power for close to 6 years, where he has led the implementation of its vision of serving the world’s population by harvesting the full potential of the ocean’s renewable energy. Prior to joining Principle Power, he was an Executive Vice President and previously Chief Financial Officer of EDP Renewables North America, having managed and raised several billions of dollars in financings and grants. While working for EDP, Mr. Metelo managed several large M&A transactions such as the acquisition of Horizon Wind Energy from Goldman Sachs as well as multiple other transactions in renewables and conventional power plants and electric distribution in multiple countries. Earlier in his career, he worked in finance with a focus on debt financing and management, namely loans, bonds, commercial paper and credit facilities programs. Mr. Metelo holds a Degree in Economics from Nova University, Lisbon and has completed an Advanced Management Program at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
Bautista Rodríguez Sánchez, born in Lugo de Llanera (Asturias, Spain) in 1961, is Industrial Engineer, graduated from the University of Oviedo with specialization in electricity, electronics, and automation. Completed post-graduate general management program of European Management School as well as Advanced Management Programme of IESE.
Started his career in 1988 in Electricité de France (EDF) in Lille (France) in the framework of the EU project Comett.
In 1989 Bautista joined Hidroeléctrica del Cantábrico, where he was responsible for the planning of transmission and distribution networks.
Between 1999 and 2002 he was Director of Planning and Clients at Hidrocantábrico Distribución, where he was leading on regulatory issues, in particular with regards to the Remuneration System for the Distribution Activity in Spain and to the development of new markets for electricity distribution in the competitive framework.
Between 2002 and 2007 he combined the positions of Director of Renewables and Networks in Hidrocantábrico and that of Construction Director of NEO (EDP Renewables).
Since 2008 he has been developing his professional activities at EDPR, currently occupying the position of Technical Director of EDP Renewables, also being a member of the Boards of Directors of the various subsidiaries and investee companies of the EDPR group in different countries.
Michiko Hirose is General Manager of the Renewable Energy Business Department at Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. She joined Tokyo Gas in 1996 and has more than 10 years of oil and gas experience, including broad expertise in LNG procurement and LNG project investment. In her current capacity, Michiko is responsible for the development of renewable energy in Japan, where Tokyo Gas has a strategic interest in offshore wind with a view of expanding its domestic and global power business in order to achieve its corporate vision of net-zero CO2 emissions by 2050.
