Quality Manager

Position Type: Full-time

Required Education: Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant field (Quality Engineering; Industrial Production Engineering)

Certifications: CAP VI TSST; Certified Auditor ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 9001:2015

General Description

We are looking for a self-motivated professional who is passionate about offshore wind and enjoys the unique challenge of growing /shaping an Organization driven by Integrity, Innovation and Sustainability. You will join a high-performing and dynamic team that is focused on positioning Principle Power as the global leader in the emerging floating wind sector.

The Quality Manager is responsible for managing the company’s Integrated Quality Management System (IQMS) and its associated processes globally. This includes taking part in the design, monitoring, evaluation, ISO certification and testing as well as continuous improvement of all company’s processes covered under the IQMS.

The position reports to the CEO, and will be highly autonomous and work with all levels of leadership and cross-functional teams of the company in a highly collaborative way.

 

Main Accountabilities

  • Manage, develop, maintain, and improve the company’s IQMS and its associated processes
  • Support the different areas of the company in designing and maintaining effective processes and procedures consistent with the company’s IQMS
  • Lead and manage ISO certification on a continuous basis, interacting with all necessary areas of the company, external consultants, and certification agencies
  • Lead Internal Audits and external associated with quality standards
  • Develop and Manage all activities related to the of internal QMS communication plan
  • Review, monitor and implement regulatory and geographic requirements and standards that affect our IQMS and its different components
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with all process owners
  • Lead and manage external stakeholders, communication and activities related to QMS
  • Close collaboration with HSE team in what regards quality standards and ISO certification
  • Design the development of internal Key Performance Indicators
  • Understanding customer expectations for our products and services and reflect it back into the company’s continuous improvement plan
  • Lead and manage training initiatives related to ISO and quality standards
  • Lead continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
  • Monitoring deliverables quality standards
  • Monitoring and evaluating internal deliverables processes

 

Required Professional Experience

  • Over 10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in engineering and technology companies
  • Relevant experience in ISO standards (Namely but not limited to 9001, 14001, 45001)
  • Experienced on ISO 19011
  • Quality Management and ISO standards associated certifications
  • Proven change management competencies
  • International and Multicultural exposure

 

Required Knowledge

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong written communications and presentation skills
  • Deep knowledge of regulations both local and international, namely in countries such as USA, European Union Countries, and United Kingdom
  • Languages: Fluency in English required (Principle Power’s working language). Good knowledge of French will be highly appreciated

  • Ability to travel (assuming return to normal in post-Covid-19 environment); regular business trips are required for this position as Principle Power has a global presence
  • Authorization to work in the relevant market
  • Compliant with, and advocate for, Principle Power’s Business Ethics and HSE policies
