We are looking for a Strategy Analyst, who is passionate about offshore wind technologies and enjoys the unique challenges of growing business in an emerging industry. You will join Principle Power’s Commercial organization, a high-performing and dynamic team that is focused on positioning Principle Power as the global leader in the emerging floating wind sector.
Support leadership team to make strategic decisions on growth, operation, and organization to drive business growth and P&L.
Drive industry insights on competitive landscape.
Conduct market research and support market entry processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, develop scalable solutions, and work towards consensus across the organization.
Define key performance metrics to drive business growth; help leadership to review and reflect on the metrics and develop action plans.
Provide objective, thorough, and data-driven recommendations to the to the management team.
Transform insights into consistent knowledge integrated and shared in the business: through workshops, conferences & other.
Work with technical and BD teams to structure product/project offerings, plan and budget for success, build winning proposals, and negotiate commercial contracts.
Perform market research to support Business Development and Technology group in identifying opportunities, track competitiveness, identify trends, etc.
Summarize findings in presentations, reports, and journal articles.
Other functions as required under the Commercial Area.
Required Professional Experience:
2+ years of professional experience, or education equivalent
Experience with offshore energy/offshore wind will be viewed favorably
Strong knowledge of renewable energy/power sector economics and offshore renewables markets,
Proficiency with financial valuation concepts
Familiarity with offshore wind technology
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Familiarity with programming (e.g., Matlab, Python) and database systems are advantages
Exceptional written communications and presentation skills
Languages: Fluent in English required (Principle Power’s working language); Other languages a plus (namely in markets where we are present)
